These Terms govern your use of the Pigee Courier platform ("the Platform") across the business (courier) portal, the driver portal and the client (sender) portal. By creating an account you confirm you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
New businesses get a free trial of 30 days. We email you before it ends. If no payment card is on file when it ends, new jobs, quotes and client orders are paused until you add one; your data is kept and jobs already assigned can be completed. A card added during the trial is not charged until the trial end date.
Subscription (per-seat) charges are billed monthly for each active driver. In addition, courier businesses agree to the following platform fees on deliveries:
Where you have connected Stripe and hold a sufficient wallet balance, the fee is deducted from your wallet balance as it accrues. Where you have not connected Stripe, or your balance is insufficient, the fee is added to your next monthly invoice. Your current and outstanding fees are shown in your wallet. The fee rate may be varied; the rate in effect at the time a fee is settled applies to any then-unpaid amounts.
Any platform fees accrued before you cancel or your account is terminated remain due and payable. Cancelling your subscription does not extinguish fees already incurred.
Client card payments go to the courier business's own connected Stripe account. Drivers are paid by the courier business they work with; automatic M-Pesa payouts are available only where offered in the portal. Cash collected on delivery is held by the driver and settled with the courier business directly. You are responsible for applicable taxes. Card processing is provided by Stripe and subject to Stripe's terms.
Clients send delivery work to couriers through the Platform on the commercial terms agreed with each courier (per-drop rate and payment terms). Agreed terms are binding once accepted by both parties in the portal. Any parcel cover is arranged and provided by the courier business, not by Pigee.
Drivers receive rounds, capture proof of delivery, and are paid by the courier business they work with, at the rate agreed with that business. Pigee provides the software and does not employ drivers or pay them; the commercial relationship is between driver and courier business. Identity documents uploaded by drivers are stored privately and shown only to the business the driver works with.
You agree not to misuse the Platform, attempt to circumvent fees, or upload unlawful content. The Platform is provided "as is"; to the maximum extent permitted by law our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding three months. We process personal data in line with our privacy policy and applicable law.
We may update these Terms; material changes will require re-acceptance in the portal. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, unless otherwise required by your local law.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use the Platform.
